Brake grease - compatability

Hello to the list:

Just wanted to run this by for opinions.  In the process of rebuilding all
of the brake & clutch components in my TR3 some of the kits include
"Girling" brake grease.  The instructions are to apply this to the seals,
etc when reassembling the components.  Is this brake grease compatible with
DOT 5 (silicone) brake fluid?  Should I pass on using this stuff and just
apply brake fluid to the seals when reassembling?
