You know, I usually reserve opinion on these matters since I have
to deal with this subject all day because of the nature of the 
work I do. 

What is being missed here is that this is not a service that you
pay for. It is not like a restaurant where you can expect the waiter
to bring you something and not talk about their lives. If that is
the sort of thing you need, then there are several pay services
on the internet where you get advice - no chat.

The people on this (free) list are very cool and helpful. They
can talk about whatever they want. You can consider it the price
for the free (and valuable) information you are enjoying.
