I am in the process of procuring a '63 mk.1, and might be interested
in your "leftovers". Whatcha got? My car has a few interesting
period aftermarket accesories including a Haan (remember them?)
steering wheel, and a Carriage Plastics 'glass hardtop, with porthole
windows, something that I had previously seen only on Datsun
Roadsters. It has a set of floor mats, but not the factory ones. I
have never seen these before. It has a Triumph shield on them, But
the script on the badge says "Spitfire". The name molded into it says
"Coneco." ring a bell? It has the factory AM radio, and the original
gearbox (Herald engine,though.) I'm new to the group, so I'm still
feeling my way around. Just thought I'd say "Hi!" to a fellow early
Spit owner (I also have a '69 GT6+).
