If they are indeed Spitfire seats It sounds like you have a pair of 69 or
earlier and a pair of 73 or later seats, My 72 (from new) had the tilt
lever and non-adjustable headrest as part of the seat back (similar to 69
thru 72 GT6's). these were used from 70-72 (with minor seat foam
differences) and in 73 there was a change to the adjustable type headrest.
Then in 76 they added houndstooth inserts. before 70 the seats had no
headrest, although some 69's may have had them (we all know how model
changes went).
