A couple of years ago, I decided to put Panasports on my TR6 in place of
the wire wheels. The mags seemed more practical for a daily driver. So
now I have five 72 spoke wires (painted silver) with four spline hubs,
bevel nuts, etc. I think I even have the short lug bolts and inner
tubes. The spline hubs are in fair shape, but I would have replaced
them to tighten everything up if I had not switched to mags.
What I need is a J type overdrive tranny. I would be willing to trade
the wheels, etc. and a working "plain old" TR transmission for a
serviceable o/d transmission.
