      Subject: Carb problem

     Hello,
     
     I just rebuilt the ZS carb on my '80 Spitfire.  The car starts and 
     runs fine for about 5-10 minutes.  Then it stops delivering fuel.  I 
     think I did the rebuild correctly exept I took apart the 
     decelerator/by-pass valve which the carb kit instructions said not to 
     because of it being factory set or something.  Is the problem caused 
     by the by-pass valve?
     
     Any help would be appreciated.
