Kevin, backfiring thru the carb is either retarded timing or a weak
mixture. If the timoing is OK, then look for air leaks by squirting
carbcleaner around the manifol;d and gaskets. I know nothing about Webers,
but if they have an accelerator pump then I would check that out.
