  Hi all,

In my quest to buy a house I've come to the realization that I need
to downsize my fleet a bit. No, no, don't worry- I'm getting rid of the
German car. But that means the Spit is going to have to enter active daily
driver duty for a while. Poor little dear has never worked a day in her
life, she's got no idea what's in store for her.

Well, she's currently sitting out in the barn with a few problems.
First is a scored crank, second is a worn clutch, third is a cracked exhaust
manifold. Since I've got absolutely no time nor space to work on her, I'm
going to hand her over to one of local LBC shops to get worked on.

But anyway to the point (there was a point here somewhere) I'm
trying to keep costs down on the repair, and since swapping the manifold
isn't a tough or time consuming job I'm going to do that one myself. So I'm
looking for a used manifold or header to replace the cracked stock one
that's currently one the car. And/or does anybody know what brands of
headers tend to be easier to fit (I've heard good things about Longflo...)?
