Thank you Bruce for what has made sense of a subject I never even
thought about until all this blew up (no pun intended) Your explanation of
the workings of the thermostat were straight forward and without all the
bull.... attached to other reply's, which left me feeling as if I knew
nothing about the workings of the motor car, and I really was messing about
in an area where I had no right to. But of course, like most thinghs
mechanical it is a simple process, made difficult by those who live by the
"Bullshit baffles brains" theory. Thanks again
