Getting TR250 on the road, gas leaked from tank; DPO repaired holey tank
with fiberglas! Duh! I took tank and boiled it at radiator shop($35),
etched inside of tank with Bill Hirsch Tank Etch and sealed tank with
B.H. Red Gas Tank Sealer. Slopped it around and let it dry according to
directions; Put the balance of sealant in tank and sloshed it around
again. Two years - gas sitting in tank while its parked, and driven off
and on, and not leaks, no smell and no FOD in fuel filters. Not all
tank sealers are created equal not impervious to all gases/gasohols/ or
other additives. This Red seal sure seems like it. Gas Sealed in the
Tank. Yours in Triumphs, Steve Wilson
