I am way behind on the digest but your question about Spit conversions
reminded me of a couple. I am sure you got notes on the rotary (Mazda)
conversion. There are a few of those running around down in FL. On the
old Prodigy Triumph Lovers board there was a guy named Pagels that had
put a 4 cyl Toyota engine in a couple of Spits. He supposedly even drew
up some plans and volunteered to send them if anyone was interested. I
think I filed one of his notes away so if you are interested let me know
and I will see if I can dig up his address.
