I am looking at the original window sticker from my 74 TR6, which I bought
new and still own. According to the sticker, "radial ply red band tires"
were standard. I believe these were the Goodyear G800's (possibly the only
tires in the world worse than the Michelin X's). Michelin X radials were a
$50.00 option on my car, and the spare was also a Michelin X.
