I'd be concerned right now, as the rear takes most of the abuse.
Considering the short time required to drop the pan and retorque it (I
assume this is your TR3), I wouldn't fool around with this one.

Also, engine vibration could loosen them very quickly if they are not
torqued down.  There are no lock tabs, only lock washers.

BTW - I base my judgement that the rear takes most of the abuse by the
comments of other listers, and the condition of my mains when I pulled them.
