Thanks for all the responses to my questions a couple months back about the
Parrish fiberglass hardtop. I did end up buying it, but still have a
couple questons about installation.

1) The turnbuckles at the rear have been cut. Should the lower screw have
a hook or an eye?

2) The top has 2 holes that align with the sockets for the soft-top pegs.
I've been told the standard way of attaching the fiberglass top is to bolt
all the way through the windshield frame. Has anyone had any luck using an
arrangement like the soft top catches? I'm hesitant to put a hole through
the car. Can someone tell me what the 2 additional holes are on the
windshield frame that are inboard of the sockets for the soft top?

3) The fiberglass top is *really* warped. Looks like it sat on its side
for too long. It's about 8" narrower than the car in some spots. I'm
considering putting it in a hot shower and then bracing it in shape with
2x4s. Bad idea?

4) How exactly do the rear turnbuckles attach to the car? I understand
there's a fitting called a "Parrish post" that is somehow attached at the
hinge point for the soft to. Can anyone provide a description sufficient
to fabricate? I guess I could do what the PO of the top did, and use
baling wire.

I've tried contacting the company, but always get a busy signal or no
answer. Can someone confirm they're at:

Parrish Plastics 5309 Enterprise Blvd, Bethel Park, PA 15102-2586
Phone: (412)833-1755 Fax: (412)833-1773

Thanks for any assistance. I'll summarize any information that is emailed
to me.
