...many wrote ...get your trusty 8 point socket...... Hey, why not get out your trusty MIG welder, and weld a big sucker nut (3/4 wrench or o/w) on the end. Then, use whatever the @#$5 wrench you want. Clearance is the only issue. I do, however, agree that a hole in the tunnel is a good idea. Pains me to day it, but early MGB's not only had a hole, they even had a dipstick! --- they musta expected reeeeallly bad leakage outta those suckers! Dave Terrick Winterpeg |
