Will One of the books I read said tap one end of the key with a hammer (Soft head preferably). This will rock the key through the arc of the slot. I tried this and it works, but it would not move without a hard head hammer. When I reinstalled it, I filed off any mashed over material. This is critical, since you do not want the pulley to bind or become difficult to install and remove. Good luck -- Brian W. Neuschwander |
