THe beast lives again/ painting?

Yesterday finally got the TR6 back on the road after ripping everything
out the Engine compartment, painting etc etc and puting it back
together. Only got one fried wire, one bad oil leak (it helps to tighten
up the oil pressure line) and two crossed plug wires. Now I'm thinking
the seven year old paint job loks a bit tatty compared to the engine
bay....here comes another attack of shipwright's disease.Anyone rented
an HLV paint system successfully??
