Hi all- I was wondering if anybody out there has been successful at changing the rear output seal on a single rail Spitfire tranny? >From looking at the manual it does seem possible. It looks like if I remove >the driveshaft/u-joints, I can remove the large nut that is directly on the >end of the output shaft. This would allow access to the seal to remove it? Anybody ever do this? Thanks in advance! Glenn Bowley '75 Spitfire 1500 FM30644U Mansfield, Connecticut |
