Air filters

The recent thread on air filters was interesting.  I am thinking about
buying the K&N filters, but also wanted to know if there were any
comments on Longflo air filters.

For those of you with the K&N setup, are you using the filters with the
original housing or the custom chrome units, which I would assume would
also increase the air flow.
