Sirmoog,

Electrically speaking, just about any hazard flasher will work. The problems
are with the physical mounting. The TR6 hazard flasher is rectangular, and
fits into a retangular holder. Most, if not all, of the flashers available at
the local auto parts stores are round. This is not a very big problem,
though. The flasher holder on the TR6 is fastened to the ineer fender with
one screw. The Auto parts stores sell a round flasher holder that also
fastens with one screw. It would be a simple job to remove the original and
replace with a round one. I doubt that the original connector would work, but
it would be very simple to replace the connector with individual female spade
connectors.

It should cost you less than ten bucks for the complete swap out, unless you
go with one of the solid state modules, which would add $3 - $4 to the cost.
