I sent this last week but didn't see it on the list. Here it comes
again in case something went wrong:

Here's some stuff I found on Judson Superchargers:

Triumph TR's

I have owned a long door TR2 (RNF 863) for over twenty five years. This
car had a body-off
rebuild early in my ownership when I was a university student. It is now
shortly due to undergo
another "proper" rebuild!
The car left the factory in 1954 in Pearl White but during my early
rebuild I resprayed it British
Racing Green. In the fashion of the time I also equipped it with a much
more powerful heater and
the later short doors plus other modifications which one would probably
not carry out today.

Currently on the road is our Signal Red TR3A (LST 926) registered in
Scotland in 1958. This car
was purchased as boxes of parts in 1987 and has given excellent service
now for five years since I
finished putting it all together.
This TR has run supercharged using a Judson supercharger kit made
specially for TR's. There are
problems with the Judson set-up which I am currently seeking to
overcome. Anyone looking for, or
offering, information can e-mail us please.

I am a founder member of the TR Register which was the first Triumph TR
enthusiasts club. Over
the years I have collected a great many spares for (mainly) sidescreen
TR's (plus a few for the later
four and six cylinder vehicles). I usually have a pattern for any
original Standard-Triumph part and
occasionally I sell surplus stock. I have, for instance, an original
TR2/3 Continental Touring Kit so I
can tell you exactly what these kits contained as well as the precise
form of box they came in. It
would thus not be too difficult to build a replica kit.

We can be contacted to help TR's in trouble in this area and we have
some specialist equipment as
well as parts and know how. We are in the TR Register Breakdown Service.

These people are at:

their email address!

I've got one that is complete and am installing it on my 1958 Bugeye.
Judson made superchargers for several applications including MGA,
Volkswagen, and Sprites of 948cc, 1098 cc and 1275 cc displacement. I
hope you know what application yours was used for before you bought it.
As far as I know, they all used Holley single barrel downdraft carb
which was pre-jetted at the factory for the particular application. This

is what mine has. I also have the oiler which is supposed to use Marvel
oil.
The pulley (at least on the bug) bolts in fornt of the existing pulley
using a longer bolt, effectively creating a double pulley. I don't know
the measurements but it would be a tricky thing to make. I could measure

it for you.

Try this web site: http://WEB.STARLINX.COM/dhedin/car.htm

this guy knows a lot about the setup and is currently making up one to
work with an S.U. carb.

Hope this helps.
