There are some documented early cars that were not painted. I judged one
several years ago at the VTR convention. A good rule of thumb for these is
if the rear valance isn't painted, then the rockers panels will not have
the black undercoating on them. I don't even want to get into body color
painted windscreen frames . . . HA!
