I have a GT6/TR6 timing mark question. My 72 GT6 has a 71 TR6 engine.
There is a timing pointer on the chain cover and there should be degree
makrs on the crank pully. Instead there is only a single line on the
pully. I had thought that this may be a hybrid between the GT6 mark and
pointer and the TR6 mark and pointer, but my discussions with TR6 owners
shows that the TR6 should be just like the GT6 (not a surprise).
Has anyone ever seen a GT6 or TR6 engine with NO degree markings on the
pully? Other than that it is exactly like the GT6 pully.
