In the rush to the finish date, I had to make a decision on installing
my front springs and I am lying awake at night wondering if I guessed
right.

I installed the Moss upgraded front springs (blue color). The coils on
one end of the spring were wound tightly together for the first couple
or three winds and then spread out evenly to the other end. I made the
executive decision to install with the tight winds down ( figuring it
acted like some sort of footing for the spring).

Any opinions if I got it right?

BTW, I found Moss's spring compression tool terrific for the front end
work. The adjustment/compression nut is on the bottom so when you are
under the car trying to line things up to reinstall the spring and
spring pan to the wishbones, its really convenient.
