The diff. of these cars are definitely interchangeable. IMO it is not
necessary to change the rear cover of the diff. However, the rubber
blocks for the 2 rear pins differ. The TR4 A diff requires at the top
and bottom the same blocks as the lower ones in the front - slightly
pointed. The TR6 diff. has silent rubber blocks in the back held with
2 screws to the rear cover. On the TR4 A IRS diff. has "rings" in the
back and the TR6 this part is open and allows the fastening of the
silent block.
