10. I like driving anachronisms...
9. I wouldn't be caught dead driving something "reliable"
for pleasure.
8. Showing my daughters that an automobile is more than a "black
box" with wheels... It's a distict construction of systems
working in concert to produce pleasure... sometimes.
7. I like getting instant sympathy from "veteran" mechanics.
6. My wife looks great in it. ("the preceeding was a paid
political announcement")
5. It gave my cats a seemingly endless night of entertainment
when I rebuilt the SUs on the kitchen table... (they still
guffaw about it on their poker night, over beer)
4. When I die, the Roadster Factory, Moss Motors, British Frame
and Engine will hold a moment of silence in my honor...
and immediately lay off 20 FTEs...
3. My other car is an Eclipse turbo... I need the contrast.
2. I meet an interesting bunch of people with a similar affiction
who whine and bitch about the DPO (I have seen the DPO... And
