Pete,
When the "Loctite Man" came to my work one day, togive his
demonstration/spiel on their product, he specifically mentioned the
lubricity qualities of loctite helping in torque critical fastening. He
said that using loctite was like using oil, and much better than using
a nyloc nut or those bolts with the strip of nylon when measuring torque.
