Hi Dan,
        I assume you mean MkIII Spitfire rather than Mk3 GT6? If you have
Spitfire MkIII door glasses with the rounded rear edge, there should be
no problems. On the other hand, if your door glasses are the GT6 ones
with quarterlights and square back edge, you'll need to get specially
cut replacements. Basically, if your soft top is standard MkIII
Spitfire, the hardtop for the same should bolt straight on. I looked
into this for my (aborted) GT6 MkI rebuild into a ragtop.
        The only other problem you might have is actually getting the hardtop
to fit. A friend of mine tried fitting his nicely finished hardtop to
his 1500 and found it rocked across diagonally opposite corners! Seems
his car had some history of "quality repairs" in previous ownership!
