Michael:

Thanks for your input.
I neglected to mention that my car is a TR-6. Since there is goo all
over the inside of the brake drum I suspect that the rear hub bearing
oil seal is shot. If the leak were from the diff. how could the oil
travel to the brake drum without beaing splattered all around by the
U-joints.

Is my new diagnosis correct?
