The Chrono Spits are supposed to be 1500 US versions. They're left hand
drive, but the seats are wrong, the bumpers are wrong, and the windshield
frame is wrong. 1500 seats have headrests, maybe the seats in the model
came from an earlier european version, perhaps a mark I. There's a pretty
wide chrome strip on top of the windshield that accepts the posts from the
ragtop. It's missing completely in this model. No 5 mph or 7 mph outriders
on the bumpers, standard on all 1500's for us import. Lots of other minor
stuff, but hey, it's a spitfire that probably more accurate than most of
the spits you can find on the street. And the price is right. But, if you
really want accurate, K & R replicas are the only way to go, at least right
now.
