My opinion exactly... I have done several seats for Spits and GT6 and I
have never found any foam that needed replacement other than the chopped
stuff.  I suck that out with a shopvac, make new pieces from solid foam and
stuff them in.  A little 3M adhesive and it is done.  Entirely from the
bottom, no covers removed, no cover fitting problems.
