With kismet like that, and you STILL didn't buy it, Andy? My TR6 is one day
older than my 16th birthday, marking my entry into the world of driving
(although I didn't know that when I bought it - my subsequent BMIHT trace
(just 10 quid at the time!) told me so). JD

FWIW, I'm two years younger than my oldest car (1951 Chevrolet). I'm
also
one year younger than my next oldest car -- and oldest Triumph (1952
Mayflower). For those stooped in Triumph Trivia/Minutia, I'm two
DAYS
        younger than TS1LO. :-)

p.s. Why DIDN'T I buy TS1LO when I had the chance? Darn! But I know
it
has a great home with you, Joe!
