Paint removal help

Hi-

This is a nit and can be answered off list if someone is kind enough to
help.

I want to remove some _old_ DPO body paint  overspray from the rubber
covers over the rear half shafts in my TR6. What product should I use to
do this that will get off the paint but not damage the rubber. Since the
parts are not critical ( like bushings) I imagine can take some
long-term degradation risks.
