Just a quick message to say thank you to all the lovely people who helped me
out so quickly, I had visions of me pushing/pulling/twisting the damn thing
until I'd done way too much damage elsewhere...anyways, you've saved me from
all that, so now I'll go home and in a relaxed fashion unscrew the nut at
the back of the dash board, calmly disconnect the choke cable from the carbs
and gently pull the cable and all through the dash...see, no sweat, no
tears, no blood !
Thanks again, it never ceases to amaze me how quickly this useful
information (which I couldn't find in my trusted and well-worn Haynes
Manual) is emailed via this lovely list and the helpful listees.
