GT6: Seat Declines Reclining

My driver's side GT6 seat -- the frame of which is the same as
Spitfire, I think -- doesn't want to recline anymore.  It's stuck
in the "up" position, which makes for an interesting driving perspective.  I've 
looked 
at the problem tersely, and don't see a
solution.  Anyone ever experienced this?
