Fred,
Not much consolation I know (especially when you had your heart set on that
pastrami sandwich) but the leak could have happened on a lonely road miles
from nowhere, 40 (vs. 4) miles from home. Was this leak in your TR3? Many
moons ago, my '58 TR3 developed a pin hole leak in the upper rad hose one
evening which sent a nice narrow geyser right up through the gap between the
hood and front valence....blew back and provided a spritz for the
wipers....sort of a glycol windshield washer option...wasn't funny at the
time, is now though:)
