Congratulations Art! Is this the car that I saw up on Ebay recently?

First thing you want is the books, if you didn't get them with the car. Check
out
this site:

http://www.books4cars.com/ They've got a good selection of Stag books. The VTR
book service also has some of these.

Lots of rear axle and manual trans stuff is common to the TR4A-6 range. For
that,
check out Moss and TRF. Some Other stuff, cooling system, electrical and trim,
can be crossed to TR7-8. I got Moss and TRF catalogs and am cross referencing
everything for future use.

Parts suppliers are kind of scarce in the US. There are a few, but prices are
high and inventory varies from day to day.

In the States (copied from various sources, among them Henry Fry):

East Coast Jaguar - knowledgeable help on the phone, expensive

Stag Specialists, Angus Holliday, from Tuscon, AZ. expensive

Eight Parts, also, if you can believe, from Tuscon, AZ. expensive

I don't have numbers handy, but I believe they're either on the VTR site or on
the Team.net pages.

In the UK:

Rimmer Brothers - http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/ - They carry just about every
part
still available for the car. I just placed a large order with them last month.
They quoted everything as being in stock, but there are some rubber seals that
they backordered. Shipping was expensive and customs was a bit of a hassle, but
overall, I'd say that you save money by dealing with them.

S.N.G. Barrat used to cover the Stag, but sold all of their tooling and stocks
to
Rimmer Brothers and now focus on Jaguar.

There is another big UK supplier, and a bunch of smaller ones, but I can't find
references offhand.
