The slight difference in the w/s trim probably wouldn't matter if you
were doing a repaint on the w/s frame. I had the same problem with TRF
using the TR6 w/s cap for the TR4A. Moss had a better reproduction, with
the one hole variety. Prior to getting the reproduction cap, I sent my
original in for anodizing (with all the chrome) to a chrome plater. I
didn't notice that the DPO had it off at one time, and had used larger
rivets to re-install it. The holes in the original w/s cap were
therefore too large for the 1/8th rivet. I did install it with larger
rivets but hated the large headed rivets. So put the Moss one on until I
find a nice original to anodize. The price for your original is way out
of line. I had mine done for $45.00 by Central Plating, EL Monte, CA
(626)442-3530. (No interest, etc.) I don't what there minimum is, but
maybe you could have something else done also if its 50.00 or 100.00. It
came out very nice, but with some small scratches around the snap area.
