Those minilites and nuts use about a 1/4 inch thick washer my friend.

I'm looking at buying a set of 6x13 original Minilites. I have a
question dealing on the nuts. The nuts have sleeves that are threaded
on the inside and which extend into the holes in the wheel. I would
expect these sleeves to fit snugly in the holes but they don't. Most of
the sleeves have tape wrapped around them to enable them to fit more
snugly. Doesn't seem right, does it?
Any ideas to what is going on here? Do the wheels have the wrong nuts
with them. Or are the sleeves on the nuts or the holes worn. The
wheels are in excellent condition and don't show any signs of wear so
I'm guessing that the nuts are the wrong size. Is it possible to get a
set of nuts for these wheels. The wheels are for a GT6 - Spitfire.
