A couple of weeks ago I posted a note saying how pleased I am with the "Automec"
brake lines that I purchased via "The TR Shop" in the UK - albeit I haven't
putthem on the car yet.
It turns out that these are the same ones Moss now has featured in the glosssy
section of the parts catalog for about $78 US. The set I got was 31 UKP, which
must be about $49-$50.
So you can save some money anyway, but the goods are the same. Of course
shipping
in both cases is extra, but I still came out ahead by a fair bit, PLUS, I got
to speak with knowledgable folks who were able to figure out how to add a clutch
pipe to the kit (for an extra 4 UKP).
I have since been in communication with the manufacturer, who sent me a price
list, and it shows that they have these sets for all our cars, even 1800s etc,
as well as many other LBCs, BBCs, & ECs.
