I used hi-temp red, so they would show through my high priced wire
wheels!!!!

It's been two years now and no problems, of course I should adjust the rear
brakes one of these days.......

Aaron - I was thinking of painting my rear brake drums in standard black 
'high temp' engine paint - do you recommend something else? ... I didn't 
think they made 'flat' black engine paint and I didn't even think about the 
heat dissipation issue. 
At the moment my drums are rust covered so I thought I would sand blast and 
paint them.
