Really strange... I have bought lead additive at Pep Boys and AutoZone...

I (just a couple of weeks ago) bought graphite lubricant at Wal-Mart ($2.00
or so) AND lead additive. Check there next time your out.

If you can't find them, I'll pick them up at Wal-Mart and mail them to you.
The graphite is super light and shouldn't cost more than a stamp to mail.

Bill

Subject: Two Dumb Questions

I have spent the better part of a day looking for graphite lubricant for
speedometer and tachometer cables. The stores know exactly what I'm asking
for, but nobody has it in stock. I have been to (several stores of each of)
Pep Boys, AutoZone, CarQuest and Trak Auto. Can anyone offer suggestions on
where to find the lubricant, or any satisfactory substitutes?

I have a similar question for the lead additive for the gasoline. The
stores know what I'm talking about, but no one has it. Any suggestions? I
didn't have any problems finding the additive in gas stations in Northern
Wisconsin recently, but I hate to think I will have to drive there to buy
the stuff.

I'm sure if I keep looking I'll eventually find these things (buying at
least a case of each), but I'm hoping for some direction to save time.
Thanks.
