GT6 stub axle availability?

I have a friend who races a formula ford on the weekends. Apparently many
of these cars use GT6 stub axles as part of the suspension. Well it seems
he broke one and is need of another. Not knowing much about the GT's I
figured someone on the list would know of a good source for these as he's
having a hard time locating one.
