I just finished looking through the Jan 2000 issue of Classic & Sports Car
Magazine and they had 2 interesting articles. The first was on 3 Triumphs
being auctioned off (12/6) in England. One was a 1965 "one off" Triumph Fury
and the other 2 were 1950 Triumph TRX Bullets. The Fury eventually evolved
into the Stag. The Bullets had a definite Sci-Fi look to them. The other
article was on a grave yard found in the hills of North Carolina stuffed
with over 120 Jags, Healeys and Triumphs plus over 200 motorcycles including
Triumphs, BSA's, Nortons and a vintage Ariel. The crime of it is, the owner
considers himself a collector and "refuses" to sell any of them even though
none have been restored in all the years the writer has been visiting the
yard. It took the fellow submitting the pictures and write up, 8 years to
get him to sell 2 Jags. Anyone in NC know where this place is?
