The History Channel ran a series of shows called "History's Greatest Blunders.
They had shows about the Titanic and Texas City (as expected). One show was
about the DeLorean Motor Company. They said the "blunder" was not so much
the car company, but the fact that Britain dumped OVER 100 MILLION DOLLARS
into DMC in the early 80s! It seems odd to back a car made for export to
the US
just after the end of export of MG and Triumphs.
