This may be the best alternative to a full blown video, in my opinion.
While the video tape is quite possible the very best option, there are
inherant problems. Not so much the technical side (cameras, lights,
location, etc.) but more with finding the personnel who is willing to
get into show business. Most of the remaining mechanics in our area
immediately said no, citing liability problems, time, cost, location,
and other items. One guy went so far as to make a test video, but
when he saw himself on tape, gave it up, said no thanks.......

I aways thought that the video could be made as a part of the
mechanics normal workday, recording whenever the opportunity presented
it'self in terms of a customer having significant work done. Simply,
the participating mechanic would call the tape company whenever
someone came in with, say, a front suspension rebuild. Cameraman
records, and the producer then adds comment later. Mechanic would
share in the royalties for the tape.

Much easier to do the work, take high quality photos, and make the
comments on the website. Don't forget, portions of any repair work
could be recorded on tape, and added to the site as a movie or video
clip. Interesting........Interesting!
