Got the front bearings repacked yesterday, and replaced the grease seals. Thanks to several listers with good info. I applied 10 foot-lbs of torque (120 inch-lbs on my Craftsman torque wrench) and then backed off one flat. Making it 1 1/2 or 2 flats, per the Bentley and Ball books, just seemed to make the wheel too loose. Sumner Weisman 62 TR3B TSF263L |
