Quote from Piggot's Book
        "On TR2s,  however the beading was in body colour material, 
usually a                               kind of Vynide fabric and 
rubber piping concoction.  There were two and possible three, 
different types of this beading, the variation being in the 
cross-section and material type. Some TR2 beading had a string-type 
centre covered in Vynide."

He goes on to say that it is almost unobtainable, and that VW beetle 
piping is similar if not identical and makes a reasonable substitute.
