Thanks for the advice. Universally: - use a largish hole (at least 1/4") - use higher heat and slower wire speed - start from the middle (the non-holed panel) and work out I'll get to try this out after the holiday parties at work are over (tomorrow night.) Oh and rule number 4: don't let the wife watch the electric meter while you're welding. Something about that National Lampoon Griswold movie...
