| Subject: | Sealant on the figure-8 gaskets? |

A few years ago I sprayed my figure-of-8 gaskets with the blue Permatex stuff before installing them in my TR4 engine. I've had no problems, but was this necessary? I'm preparing to assemble an engine for a 3A and would like to know the collective wisdom of the list. Should I put sealant on the gaskets below the cylinder liners?
